A few months ago, I wrote about the leadership mistakes I made in 2024. And boy, were they big.

You'd think that as an organisational psychologist with nearly two decades running a business, I'd have it nailed by now.

Sadly, no.

The response to that post was huge. So many of you reached out saying "Thank you for being honest about this stuff." Which made me think: let's go deeper.

So I sat down with my mate Sabina Read (fellow psychologist, but of the clinical variety) to properly unpack where I got leadership very, very wrong. We've just released the conversation on How I Work. Listen to it here on Apple, Spotify, or Snipd (my fave pod player).

Leadership can feel lonely.

And the endless humble brag posts on LinkedIn about all the amazing leaders who seemingly have it all figured out? They make it feel even lonelier when you're in the middle of royally f*&king things up.

My hope is that today's episode makes you feel less alone if you, like me, lead people and sometimes get it spectacularly wrong. And perhaps give you some ideas on how to get things "right" more often.

Listen to it here on Apple, Spotify, or Snipd (my fave pod player).

(And please share this episode with a leader you know who needs to hear this right now).

Hit follow/subscribe in your podcast app, because Part 2 drops next Thursday.
