A digital notepad that feels like a real one

I am a big fan of handwriting and scribbling things on notepads when I am doing creative work. But this leads to be not being able to find anything when I need it because I have about four notebooks on the go at any one time. I have tried getting into using sketchbook software on my ipad but I hate the feeling of writing on glass. Which is why I love Remarkable. Remarkable is a paper tablet - and that's all it does. There are no distracting apps, no bings and pings. It FEELS like writing on paper. And all you can do on it is write. It also converts handwriting to text or PDF documents, making it easy to find and share things.

An easy way to mute yourself on video calls

If you spend your day on video calls, muting and unmuting yourself can be a hassle. You have to put your hand on the mouse and find the Mute button, all of which takes a few annoying seconds before you can speak. And I am sure we are all sick of accidentally trying to speak when we are still muted. If you can relate, you might enjoy the Mute Me button which i recently discovered. It plugs into your computer and you simply press it to mute or unmute yourself. And it shines bright red when you are on mute, so you will never have to hear the words "You're on mute, I can't hear you", again.

How to make the most of the next 24 hours

If your world feels ruled by to-do lists and trying to pack more into an already choc-a-block schedule, take a few quiet minutes to read this post from Leo Babauta of Zen Habits. He outlines four ways to make the most of the next 24 hours. I particularly love the challenge of putting 3 things, instead of 30, on today's list of things to do.
